On a quest to be the best printer for small businesses, Plastic printers in the industrial park is thriving
By the time he turned 17, Luke Lingle had learned two key skills that, to this day, help him run a growing and successful business in Hastings. First, he learned about printing. Second, he learned the basics of making money.

Build a big company with a small company attitude
Luke established Custom Plastic Printers, Inc. in the garage of his father's house in Cottage Grove, MN.
Moved to first building with 5 employees. Developed the first online quoting system for our products.
Purchased first digital printing press and hired 2 more employees.
Doubled the size of our building.
Moved to new location with double the space and hired 4 more employees.
Purchased first ever 6 color printing press. Installed CRM (Customer Relations Manager) to update customer status. Created sales teams to respond quicker to client needs.
Moved location again to a 14,000 sq. foot building -- well over doubling our size again. Purchased new HP Indigo 7 Color Press. Added new die cutting and lamination equipment capable of 640,000 cards per day.
Added a 6,000 sq. foot warehouse and manufacture space. Added much more inventory to serve your needs! Installed ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to respond to changes immediately.
Finished our new office addition and hired 20 new employees. Installed a 5 color Litho Press. We added a high speed magstripe machine to triple our capacity!
Because of YOU, the client, we are now 50+ employees strong, here to service you. We have installed a high speed encoding and variable data machine with camera verification to bring us into the future of quality control and card printing technologies.
We will service clients from 6am until 10pm, 5 days a week. We will continue to manufacture all of our products in house. This allows us to service you and adjust to your delivery needs. Thank you for all your business as it is a key part to our success!
