Everyone wants their business cards to get attention. Attention grabbing cards means that you'll have more eyes looking at your contact information. The goal is to get the most buzz worthy card--We want to help!

We put together some useful tips and tricks that you should keep in mind when you're creating your business cards.

1. Make your business cards easy to remember

This could be anything as minute as the stock you choose, the length of time they last without showing wear, to the design or the color and theme you choose. Before you order your business cards, be sure to talk with a customer service rep at. They are always available to help with tips or hints and are stocked with ideas from other successful cards we've printed over the years.

2. Give your business cards another function

Why not give your business card another reason to rock? Your business card can have a multitude of uses, among some ideas are appointment cards, host a give away or a promotional offer, and many more. Think of another reason, aside from getting a hold of you and looking at your awesome logo, that will get the recipients of your business card to hang on to your card versus tossing it in to a card dex never to hear from you again. It happens. Trust us.

3. Keep it Simple

The golden rule of design. In terms of business cards, keeping it simple means keeping the standards of information. Don’t clutter up your business card with 10 million forms of contact. A name, phone number, website/email, and if appropriate one social media handle should be efficient. It’s unnecessary to add your twitter handle, and your Google plus account, and your private twitter handle, and your facebook name, and your separate blog page (that you haven’t updated in a while), and a phone number that you found on the back of a gum wrapper at the movies. You get my point. Keep your business card as free from clutter as possible. Just the basics. Leaving to many options for contacting you can make you look desperate.

4. Share your business cards

Seriously--Share them. Give yourself a deadline on when to have so many shared with. Getting them out there as much as possible. I've seen many people spend small fortunes on these elaborate business cards and there they sit in the closet in the beautiful boxes they arrived in. Give them out to as many people as possible. Give them to your friends, give them a few extra to hand out, give some to clients/customers, give them a few more to pass on. The further your business cards travel the better it will be for you. The more memorable and buzz worthy they are, the farther your cards will travel.
