1. Free Business Card Design Inspiration

Every great design either starts with about 20 cups of coffee and 3 trees worth of notebook scribbles... Or it could start with some great inspiration! Find some of the best business card designs on the net (conveniently ordered by popularity) at Creattica.com

2. Free Stock Photos For Your Design

Using a professional photo is hands down one of the easiest ways to raise the bar for your business card.

Here's what you do to get free photos for your next business card design:

  1. Go to google images
  2. Type in...
KIDDING!

Unfortunately you can't just go to google and search out images... At least not legally. The good news for you is that there are a ton of royalty free stock images at your finger tips.

Visit the following sites for royalty free stock photos:

3. How to pick an effective color palette for your business card

Picking the right color palette can make or break your design. Find a winner here by creating your own palette, or browsing trending color combinations as voted by their visitors.

4. Choosing The Right Business Card Font

Business cards have a lot of text... Because of this picking the correct font is absolutely critical. Problem is if you're like me you have hundreds if not thousands of fonts installed on your computer. Navigating this can be a huge time / motivation killer. Before I found the next tool I'd just use the same font on cards for awhile until I found a new favorite font.

Simply enter your text at wordmark.it and it will supply all of the fonts you have on your computer and give you a nice list to choose from.

What will you do with all the time you are going to save?

5. Adding A QR Code To Your Business Card

While there are a wide variety of sites offering free qr codes this is a favorite in our design department. Clean, straight forward, to the point.
